Dr. Kanchan Anand has been practicing Medicine in the Washington Metro area for over two decades and has been passionate about inner well-being. She speaks and holds workshops for doctors, nurses and other professionals giving them simple tips to help them foster self-care.
During Covid, Dr. Anand developed a relaxation technique called "My 60 Seconds" that has helped so many healthcare workers and team leaders feel calm and rejuvenated in simply 60 seconds. She continues to teach this technique to not only the healthcare workers but across the globe.
My 60 Seconds is a deep breathing technique that has shown to reduce stress levels by 40-60 % in simply 60 seconds. It is an easy, quick and effective technique. It is based on deep breathing, connecting with the positivity and gratitude. This is being used at Cornell University as part of their Wellness Course.
